Your function as a Sales Analyst in the Global Business Services division is essential to the accomplishment of NetApp’s Quoting tool goals. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to our global partner community and NetApp users, working closely with Business Program Managers and System Administrators to ensure a seamless quoting process. This role involves listening, conducting research, analyzing data, and identifying necessary changes. You will be tasked with drawing conclusions and developing strategies to meet the goals of the business team. You will work with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Quote to Invoice, Finance, IT, and Enterprise Business Intelligence as a member of a cross-functional team. This is a demanding position with the potential to directly influence the effectiveness of the sales organization and enhance customer satisfaction. Success in this role requires thriving in a fast-paced environment and adapting to a company in the midst of significant transformation.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional daily operational support for the quoting process and system, including quote configuration, creation, updates, and addressing pricing-related queries for both direct (field) and indirect (channel) sales teams.
  • Perform problem analysis, issue triage, resolution, and root cause analysis, collaborating with business program managers and technical resources as needed.
  • Understand and adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Proactively enhance the sales user experience, turning the quote tool into a competitive advantage; identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Provide your knowledge of system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting pertaining to the quoting tool.
  • Assist as a system and process specialist and take part in project teams for the quoting tool’s future updates.
  • Boost sales productivity by streamlining business processes and tools.
  • Manage data quality through analysis, quality checks, data uploads, and ad hoc reporting.

Requirements:

  • Strong command of the English language, including excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
  • Familiarity with pricing procedures, systems, product combinations, and renewal quotes.
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple requests, and support a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, accuracy, and customer service.
  • Experience working with Change Management teams on process improvements.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to conduct conference calls and collaborate online.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills demonstrated through effective presentation, verbal, and written communication.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Required.
  • 6-8 years of experience in quoting processes and/or systems applications customer service, ideally within high-tech companies – Required.
  • Experience providing global support, optimizing quoting processes, product configuration, and quote pricing for an enterprise – Highly desirable.
