Job Description
To join our observability team, we are looking for a skilled Observability Software Engineer with knowledge of Elastic, Prometheus, Podman, MicroShift, and Redhat systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing our on-premise systems and data centers, ensuring they function efficiently and effectively.
Basic Requirements for Software Engineer
Must-Have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 3+ years or 2+ years of relevant professional experience, respectively.
- Demonstrated experience with Elastic, Prometheus, and other observability tools.
- Strong knowledge of on-premise systems architecture and infrastructure.
- Proficiency with automation and scripting using programs like Ansible, Bash, or Python.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Podman, MicroShift, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Outstanding capacity to solve problems and function well under duress.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Expertise in building scalable systems.
- A high level of curiosity and a strong desire to learn.
Good to Have:
- Understanding of security best practices.
- Experience in performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with CI/CD frameworks.
- Certification in relevant observability tools.
- Certification in the Red Hat ecosystem is an advantage.
